What usually arrives

While VIP benefits and perks are not guaranteed, booking with a travel advisor like me will ensure you have a much better chance at getting these elusive perks than booking on your own. This is a structural feature of the travel industry.

A room in a better category than the one you paid for, assigned at check-in if one is open.
Breakfast for two, daily — usually in the restaurant rather than in the room.
A credit to spend on the property. Most often $100, sometimes a spa treatment or a set dinner instead.
Early check-in and late check-out, both subject to what the hotel actually has that day.
Don't underestimate the power of an advisor simply advocating, lobbying, and asking on your behalf for a special (or otherwise) occasion.

What I can't promise

Unless otherwise stated, perks are confirmed at check-in, not at booking.
Any sort of rate guarantee. Dynamic pricing is a real thing, and any rate can be introduced, booked out, or withdrawn at any time.
