Already booked? It’s not too late.

Found me after you’d already booked a trip and wishing you’d known about a travel advisor’s value earlier? Fret not. I can still:

• –Add myself as your agent of record on existing bookings (if the operator allows) it to apply any relevant perks.
• –Cancel and rebook anything that’s refundable, with the perks attached.

I’ll never move you to a rate that costs more or that comes with worse cancellation terms without your permission.

And if rebooking is the right move, I won’t cancel your existing booking until the replacement is confirmed.

What I’ll need: forwarded emails and confirmations of your existing bookings

What to expect: I’ll get back to you via email with what I can and can’t improve (Some rates, third-party reservations, and points bookings can’t be changed, and some operators don’t offer any perks programs at all). From that point on, if you’d like to move forward, I will collect personal and payment info through a secure form and make the bookings or changes.

For this service, I won’t be recommending alternative operators, room types, or fare types. This is about improving what you’ve already chosen, not changing it.

What I’ll need from you

• –Dates
• –Number of travelers, names (as it appears on their ID/Passports)
• –Birthdate for anyone on a flight booking; ages for children on hotel and activity bookings at time of travel
• –What needs booking — hotels, vacation rentals, flights, cruises, activities
• –Any specific class of service: room type (one-bedroom king, two-bedroom suite), fare class (economy, business, first)
• –Any loyalty program numbers you would like to attach

A note on loyalty programs: Unless otherwise stated, booking through me doesn’t cost you anything here either. You’ll earn points as usual, and where your status and my VIP benefits both grant perks, you’ll get the better of the two.

How I determine rate and fare types: unless you tell me otherwise, I’ll assume the most economical option that doesn’t materially derail the experience (E.g. a suite for four adults as opposed to a king and a sofa bed, or a reasonable nonstop over a cheaper connection with a long layover). I will also prioritize refundable bookings. If price is the absolute priority, please let me know.

What to expect: I will collect personal and payment info upfront through a secure form, and for straightforward bookings your confirmations will arrive by email. If anything needs clarification or a call to the operator, I will let you know.

No fee — except airfare-only bookings, which carry a per-ticket service fee. Air booked as part of a wider trip is included at no extra charge.

I get it. How you get there and where you stay can make or break a trip.

We’ll have a quick conversation either live, via email, or messaging about your likes and dislikes, and I’ll follow up with options worth considering. I’ll flag any opportunity for VIP perks and benefits I can attach as your travel advisor, such as room upgrades where available and hotel credits to spend at the property.

What you’ll get

For each destination: a shortlist of 2-3 accommodation options across a range of price points, with a note on why each one is on the list and what perks I can attach to it. Flight routing and fare options where relevant.

One round of revisions is included. If something isn’t landing, I’ll adjust based on your feedback. Beyond that we’ll need to step up to full trip planning, and you can decide if you’d like to continue.

What this isn’t: a day-by-day itinerary, restaurant/tour/activity reservations, or transfer logistics. That’s Full Trip Planning.

Pricing

$200 for the first destination, $150 for each additional destination, capped at three for $500.

Interested in Tokyo alone? That’s one destination. Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto? That’s three.

If you go on to book through me, I’ll refund the planning fee for the destination you travel.

The refund is per destination. I.e. Book Tokyo and Kyoto through me but arrange Osaka yourself or eliminate it? I’ll refund the fees associated with Tokyo and Kyoto.

When the refund happens: on the scheduled departure date of the first thing I booked for you (Not at the moment of booking). The fee exists to cover research and legwork that doesn’t turn into a trip, so it’s returned once the trip is actually happening. For trips booked far ahead, the refund may come by bank transfer rather than back to your card.

The blank slate.

You know you want to go somewhere. You may not know when, with whom, where to, or even how to frame it. An anniversary? A solo trip to rejuvenate? A Dadchelor party? Why not?

Let’s talk about where you and your travel companions are mentally, what’s motivating this trip, and what you want out of it (which may very well be nothing at all)

I start at the top of the funnel with the broadest questions and work down to specifics. We’ll be in lockstep at every stage.

What you’ll get

A day-by-day itinerary with accommodation, flights, ground transfers, and the activities and reservations that need booking ahead.

Two rounds of revisions are included. Most trips need one.

Pricing

$600 for the first itinerary, $300 for each additional one, capped at three for $1,200.

Planning an anniversary trip for you and your partner? That’s one itinerary. Adding the honeymoon? That’s two.

A single trip through several cities like Tokyo -> Osaka -> then Kyoto is one itinerary, not three.

More than four rooms is a group, and groups work differently.

Group travel opens levers that don’t exist for a couple or a family. It also demands a different approach depending on what’s driving the trip. Are we planning around a central event or conference? Do we need a contracted rate at a hotel to take the uncertainty out of it?

Those are the questions worth answering first.

Should you want to consider any contracted rates, I’ll walk you through the specific terms before anything is signed, and I’ll tell you when a contracted arrangement isn’t appropriate for your group’s situation. Sometimes multiple individual bookings are the better call, and sometimes rack rates and VIP perks are preferable. We’ll work together for your group’s unique situation.

Who signs matters. The group organizer (you, your company, your organization, etc.) is the contracting party. I’m your advisor in the arrangement, not a signee.

Pricing

$1,000 for groups up to 10 rooms. This fee is non-refundable.

Group work is the heaviest and least reversible planning. Rate types proliferate and contracts get negotiated long before anyone travels, and that work doesn’t unwind.
